nonslip yoga towels

I find more than anything my hands slip on the mat.
It's not a sweat thing so the ones that work for hot yoga once damp I don't think would help.

I see the ones with silicon nubs range from $20 to $80.
Is the pricey one really that much better?

Interesting, never heard or seen one before. I went on youtube to see the review on them. They seem nice.If you have the money to fork it out, why not?

Very rarely do I use a mat. I bought one for 5 bucks at Target. I don't get much use of that one either. If there is sweat, I got the towel. I am just dirty that way.

Use a different mat, or if environment permits, no mat.
I like the straw ones, I have also put a straw one over the top of my "regular" one. A Mexican blanket thrown over the top of it can work as well.
Not using a mat can be pretty liberating but isn't always practical, a blanket or the straw kind are versatile though.

If you find yourself totally off-mat or with an over-abundance of them , here is a useful video that shows how to make flip-flops out of them.

It depends on the hot yoga towel's quality. The cheaper ones are too thick and soft, no grip. Unfortunately, the ones with the best, absolutely no slip are super expensive. I love the yogi toe brand. It also has grips on the bottom to keep it in place. The few I have have tiny grip dots on the top as well for hands and feet.
