A special hello from a forum noob.

Hi all!
Noob here. I've been lurking in the shadows for a few years. I gave Farcebook the flick about 6 months ago, and decided to join in the fun/party over here in the old school side of town (read: forum).
I've been around, having a spiritual awakening at the feet of a spiritual master in India 25 years ago this month, I think it was. It was like a bolt of lightning, really and literally, a flash of light and then silence.....
That's not really doing it justice, but it's a brief sketch.
So things are rather normal now, with the way I can view things, but as I look around at other people, it's obvious that I'm viewing things very differently. With more clarity and wholeness than most. That being said, I'm not professing any sort of knowledge, so I'm here to rub shoulders with those who may know a little more on certain subjects than I do.

Hi there. Yes I've been to India, sat at the feet of Masters, from the mid-'90s to early 2000. I still kind of miss the place.
I haven't actually heard that one before, about when the Guru is pleased then he shows you God. But it is true. All I can say is that everything is Consciousness, and while that is completely ordinary, nothing is essentially real. Yet everything is as real as we make it. The secret is that we cannot make two into one -- it has to be a completely fresh way of viewing things. You ARE That, Brahman.
