Barriers in Growth

Hello Friends
I'm Anant

Gradually i'm beginning to see conditioned patterns of the mind, also i think that alone i cannot help myself solve these problem, so kindly tell what's right and best in situations as such.

1- I micromanage my schedule, now i realize it's not as efficient and drains energy by the time you are on the actual task.

2- I make same repetitive assumptions in performing work, although the assumptions may vary on the surface, but i have found the underlying pattern in which the thoughts manifest themselves to be against the flow.

I just want to get rid of this habit of assuming, i want to learn through experiences.

3- I fear disappointing people i love, which i now becoming a burden to me. I can perform better without this one.

Although there is more but i'll start with this.

Thank You. :)

Also there is unconscious resistance toward change, even if it is going to be good, i delay it.

These things need to "change".

I don't have the answers for you, but feel like the questions are useful questions, the noticing useful noticing, and by that I figure you will find your own way through. I just wanted to say, well done for doing what you're doing and for being who you are being. x.

Thank you Ivy.

I have seniors and teachers who tell me how this world and individuals together as society work.
That is very calculated and right things they have observed, but thats not all.

I'm more interested in knowing the one who runs this machinery of body.
I'm a student of Mechanical Engineering, i havent seen heat exchanger as efficient as lungs, pump as efficient as the heart and likewise a processor as efficient as gut.
Amazing things all of us possess.

It amazes me what all can be done if the mind works for us, not the otherwise. It feels like we have to train it first.

It is wonderful that you are aware of what you see as barriers because awareness is always the first step towards change. Go you!

I have plenty of barriers, including judgemental/critical thinking and also of being negative/seeing my life through the eyes of a victim. It is hard.

The mind cannot be trained. Loving the truth renews the mind from within.

Possibly - or maybe un-train it or retrain it. But is that not what happens as we notice ourselves? by observing that the mind is leading us where we don't need to go, we are more likely to not reinforce unhelpful thinking by acting according to it. In this way, the mind changes naturally as we show it different ways.
