Bears, cat family, large birds of prey...but I also feel a deep connection with many others.
Peace & blessings

Read this thread yesterday and thought about what my power animal would is...first thought was snake because they already showed up in so many of my dreams. But that was some time ago. So, no answer yet, i thought.
Well, last night i woke up out of dream...with snakes...so, i guess, mine is snakes.
I see there's not many people with the snake as a power animal..

The mountain lion. It is here to teach me independence, patience, and focus when trying to achieve my aspirations. Also, to hone my natural good instincts.

I too have a connection to cats, but my power animal is most assuredly the eagle.
Like an eagle, one learns to soar into the sky of consciousness when difficulties arise, see the big picture, and return to address the situation at hand as wisely as possible in the best interests of all with no expectation of a return.

I've been fond of birds of prey since I was very young.. they are sacred to me.. eagles, falcons, hawks
Flying high above the petty localisms the raptor bird sees all..
Honourable mention to wolves, the champions of conservation!

Red Tail Hawk
So, being that it seemed to be the summer of animals, I was not sure. Who my power animal would be. Then after a chat with a friend about native wisdom, she brought me a book called “The Moons and The Totems.” My birth time represents the Budding Trees Moon (Red Hawk.) I told my husband and he agrees. I see them all the times. They swoop around me when I drive to get my attention and sometimes fly along side.

I've gone back and forth with this. My first guide appeared to me as a badger, though while he's still very active a bat has taken charge. Eventually, I realized neither of these were representative of me. Thinking back, I'd always had a love for wolves, particularly the lone timber wolf, ever since I was a kid. I'd even dreamed of running with wolves, from wolves, as a wolf, etc. As I realized this, I began seeing myself as a stark white timber wolf when I'm among my guides, with bright gold eyes and a burgundy robe or cloak. Ever since I have felt beyond a shadow of a doubt, I'm a wolf at heart, though the badger and bat are still very close to my heart and hold their own special meaning.
