I'm not sure exactly what you are asking about, but I can try to point you in the right direction... hopefully.
Several books have been written solely around the Wiccan Goddess and God aspects. The Farrar's wrote the best break downs that I have read. The Witches' Goddess and The Witches' God. I would recommend those for a really solid understanding of the two.
I hope this helps....

Scott Cunningham is also really good :) I dont really want to give an explanation because im so new to it all! You best bet is Norseman - he is like a fountain of knowledge! I will find an explanation and i will write it for you when i go through my books x

xcat-ladyx, God/Goddess. In truth there are more names than you could shake a stick at but it all comes down to a Masculine and a Feminine principle which, if you think about it, is just two halves of a whole. So, many names and many aspects within that.
The classic wiccan goddess is the Triple Goddess which relates to the three main phases of the Moon, waxing, full ,and waning or Maiden, Mother, Wise Woman. The masculine equivalent being Youth, Man, Sage. Some wiccans prefer just to go with The Lord and The Lady, again with different aspects of each.
But the important thing is what you hold in your soul and spirit. Your goddess/god know their own names and, in due time, they will let you know.
There you are from the "fountain" of something or other - this D.O.S. [Dusty Old Sage ]

xcat, I dedicated to Gaia [ Mother Earth] but I am not wiccan. I follow the path that wicca is an off-shoot. A primitive path.

I personally believe (like Norseman) that nature as a whole is where my earth lies. The horned god represents animals and the day, and that mother nature is the goddess Not specific gods/godesses as such :)
Go with what you believe in. If you are drawn to a specific God then thats great :) Go with what your gut tells you! xx
