You'll see in my posts regarding this subject that I believe the same thing. I'm simply asking how this conclusion was arrived at by astralbeing17.

I'm currently in the process off trying to prove that lucid dreaming and astral projection are the same by generating energy and finding a neutral state off energy while in the astral and lucid state and if them 2 energys off the lucid and astral realm are the exactly the same I know that the place you go is technically the same realm/4th dimension :)

I'm not exactly convinced that they take place in the "astral" per say, although I do believe they take place on some level of nonphysical reality, perhaps the mental dimension, being of higher frequency than the astral. I've come to this conclusion by exploring the nature of lucid dreams, mental projections, and astral projections, and experimenting with phasing directly from one state or mode of projection to another. The similarities between these experiences (particularly lucid dreams and mental projections) indicate they may in fact be one and the same. The conscious and subconscious manifestations that take place in dreams and lucid dreams are more on the level of mental projections than astral, as manifestation is generally more difficult and more temporary in the astral as compared with the mental realms.
