Stone Mason Techniques.

The ancient egyptions and the free masons both use the same technique for building. The Free Mason symbol basically tells you in the symbol how masonry is used. To level something. To set stone on the base level, what you do is put loose natural dirt on the ground, water the dirt and just place the stone on it. It will settle and nature will do the rest of the leveling. But if you want the ground level, you could use two rocks and a ruler. Set the ruler in between the two rocks. Using your eyes you can see geometrically if it is level or not. You can also use string like the Ancient Egytions did. To test to see if the stone is set vertically level. All what you do is get what is SHOWN IN THE SYMBOL. The Pyramid shaped 90 degree geometric tool. Put a piece of string on it. Place it next to the vertical angle and see if the string is matching that of the stone. It is that simple. There are many masonry techniques, but they are all that of simplicity. I do not know why free masons try and keep this a secret. My neighbor is a free mason and showed me these techniques. Masonry now in days is expensive. But if someone wants a very well built structure they will hire a free mason to do the work. Plus the building structure will last a very long time compared to the way construction workers build houses.
