I've looked them up Red. The "everlastings" are really beautiful.
The "desert peas", what can I say. They look like those things they hang off the side of your prawn cocktail with the big black eyes LOL... Never seen flowers like it !
But I'm guessing none of them get snow on them.

I haven't lived there for almost 3 decades. I wished I took pictures.......
It just shows you, time seems to fly but I still remember my fairy rings. I loved watching them when they would stick their heads out of the snow. As it was, the land I lived on during that time was magical in many ways. Beavers with their beaver dam, fish, turtles, deer, rabbits, bald eagle and blue herons. People would come and thought it was a park. LOL!
