Did she live a long life??

Well, we do know John took care of her. I thought Catholics taught she ascended into Heaven.
The Assumption -sky reminded me. :)
This is what it says online: ''In the presence of the apostles gathered around her bed, also in the presence of her divine Son and many angels, Mary died and her soul, rose to heaven, accompanied by Christ and the angels. Her body was buried by the disciples.''
Where that came from ...maybe someone can tell us!

Official historical records, both domestic and foreign, include at least four official vatican documents that confirm that Joseph of Arimathaea fled the Holy land with Mary the Mother of Jesus and others, to Glastonbury England and were both buried there.

Joseph was a tin merchant and the story goes he was in England many times.

So if Joseph of Aremathaea was very familiar with the British Isles because of his tin trade then the legend of Him,Mary and others fleeing there is not to far fetched.
