Thank you Gracey. I always find doing art to be a form of meditation for me. It just soothes my soul.

You are most welcomed Goldendragon! :^)

I'm thinking that in order to post the picture in its full size you'll probably need an off-site picture hosting website. I use the payed version of photobucket.com , but they also have free hosting as well... you would upload your art to a site such as this and they'll give you a posting url in order to access the image. ...copy and past that to your reply and you're all set! :^)

I once thought of trying to make money off my art efforts and just that alone tended to take much of the meditative fun out of it.. once I changed back to the process of enjoyment, then the meditative aspect of this was once again pure... I simply love zoning-out into the isolated details that come with such a free-flowing focus... :^)

Thank you StephenK, I will look into some sort of off site picture hosting site. I am so glad you were able to regain your meditative aspect of your art, and hopefully still able to make money at what brings you joy. Blessings to you.

This one I put together out of my personal admiration for the space shuttle... I make a cameo appearance toward the end:

this is a video that I shot and edited for my son... he's the one with the maroon truck... :^)

And I hope you don't mind if I slip a third one in here... this was a general edit that I did that I really enjoyed spending time with....

I was busted for using the music that went into each one of these... but they each told me it was okay to continue using it... I was grateful for that... :^)

I havent looked at all your work yet...but that third one..just melted me into peace and love....beautiful...stephen.

These are great, Golden. Like Squatchit, your pieces embody an overall 'vibe' achieved through colour, technique and composition. Simple, but effective. And don't worry, the attachments seem pretty obvious.

That's very true. I think artistic expression mirrors the fluidity of not only life, bu the universe. It has to. But I know for many artists there is an almost teleological drive to create and complete the ultimate in whatever it is that drives the expression, but it technique or concept. I think it's a sort of left-brain/right-brain battle to the death of an artist's sanity.

So I like your approach, and I will try my damnedest to keep it in mind while I struggle with this latest personal piece. However, once I'm done I face the reality of having to create for money, which, as I think you said to someone else in this thread, really takes the 'joy' out of the process in many ways. I have a friend who manages it regularly, and she has all my admiration.

Anyway, I just wanted to really thank you for the support and enthusiasm. If you create any new videos, please post them! I love edits. The only other video compilation I've done is so awful content-wise I'd probably get a ban for posting it!

Wow, I totally hijacked this thread. SORRY, GUYS. Please post more to even the score!

Thank you for your kind comment Envolucris. I usually just do my paintings for myself. I always figure no one would buy them and my husband thinks every one is so wonderful. I just figure he is my biggest fan so I tell him he can just keep them lol. I have a need to paint and draw because I have to have a creative outlet. I used to create welded metal sculptures and do hand built clay pieces, then my healt got to where all I can do is the paintings and a bit of beadwork. I am grateful to still have an outlet for my expression, but now having almost 300 painting.. I am running out of space to store them lol. Have a wonderful day and blessings to you in your art and your life.

A very warm Thank you Silent whisper

There's a really nice story behind this video... when I have more time to do so I'll be pleased to share it... It has to do with a SF participant named MizLori a few years ago. It was one of the cooler spiritual things in this lifetime that I was pleased to be part of... :^)
