Imagination

[Moonglow]

Some want facts
But only those that back
The ones that are carried
Around in fat sacks
Question them and one
is seen as whacked
There is a time to just relax
The child is told
To be silent and hush
As it brings out
The imaginary rush
To the mind and images gush
No facts, say some
A bunch of mush
What were once dreams
Arose into being
Turned into facts,
by those not seeing
That they were once imaginings
remixed and conveyed
The child giggles at such play
Facts may alter and change
as visions and thoughts rearrange
The imagination lies in wait
patiently through the debates
To once more bring into bloom
That which some facts
make no room
