The Devil + The Lovers

Ive been interested in someone lately so I've done a few spread on his feelings for me. I've been getting the devil card very often. Usually surrounded by positive cards. I don't understand the devil card too well. But instead of doing a reading on his feelings today, I asked more specifically if he loves me and got this:

Wheel of fortune + Devil + Lovers

The devil and lovers cards look very familiar (RW) .. but since they are both cards that I rarely pull (until now) I'm not quite sure how to interpret them..especially together.

The Devil is about temptation, too much of a good thing.

The Lovers is about a choice, and love of course.

Wheel of Fortune is about what goes around comes around.


Seems to me this is more about your feelings than his, and the situation of course.

Thank you, Kaere. I do understand what all of the cards mean individually. I was just hoping to get a better understanding of the story they tell when they are together. They seem connected when they are laid side by side. Just wondering, why do you feel as though it is about my feelings?

I think the story it is telling is for you to consider whether this infatuation is good for you or not ie there is something holding you back from each other, there is something perhaps unseen by you, and it is there for good reason. Are you going around in circles, has this sort of situation come up for you before? These are the kinds of questions you should be asking yourself.

I thought it would be more about your feelings than his because I find that reading others in this way often backfires, especially when it comes to love and tender emotions. There is too much 'you' in the question and the interpretation for it to be unbiased.
