For me the simplest understanding means to lay down, put aside and sacrifice your ego. Let your focus and attention move from self to really seeing others……

In conjunction with this is realizing that ‘there is no fear in love’……appearing in 1 John 4:18-21. A function of the ego is to protect one’s self…..removing fear removes the desire for protection.

Definitely not, love goes much deeper. It's a moment to moment attitude towards others and not just a one off action.... Imo....

Our ego plays an important role in shaping our personality as well as guiding our behavior. It helps us to navigate through life and provides us with a framework for understanding ourselves and the world around us in what we live.... it's a very important tool when it's healthy and can be beneficial when used properly, any tool can be used in a negative or positive way. How can you love others if you don't love 'Yourself'. Imo....

I don't know on this one because every man I fall for it again on married is it okay it's either gay or married or spoken for I've never love Never Never true love
Because when it comes to me the one pretty and beautiful they do or they were not the same dead with me
But it's their loss making me miss out on a loving caring nature loving lady it is their loss
And the one to us this button for the rest they were single to break a kind thoughtful person like me because the person they are with itselfish but at least I'm not

Maybe the word love could be substituted for the word respect.

It’s hard for a lot of people to grasp…….love thy self and love others, but they could probably get their head around “respect”.

For me personally, I don’t have a problem with love but whenever I’ve mentioned to others about loving themselves they kinda look at me weirdly or say…….how can ya love yourself?

Just a thought.
