Just had a look at album sales and yeah the Stones are behind. It is funny to see Elvis, Elton John, Michael Jackson and Madonna right up there just below the Beatles. But I do realise these folks are not 'bands'....

Personally, I don't have favourite bands, singers or composers...

I get something out of a particular piece of music --> I love it -- simple

But, to name some of the various groups/individuals I enjoy very much:

Nirvana
T. Rex
Ratatat
Pink Floyd
Billy Talent
The Who
Muse
Two Steps From Hell
Asbjørn
The Stranglers
Pierce The Veil
Blue Foundation
Red
Unkle
Poets Of The Fall
The Black Keys
Nicholas Hooper
Radiohead
Placebo
Gregorian
Queen
Wolfsheim
Evanescence
Of Monsters And Men
Massive Attack
Blondage
Nine Inch Nails
Steve Miller Band
Sixx:A.M.
Linkin Park
Coldplay
Bon Iver
Marilyn Manson
Chris Pureka
Faun
Santiano
Fink
Hurts
Mumfords & Sons
Nightwish

Yes, well, I'm going to stop now... This list is endless, it grows every day
