Pink Floyd vs Led Zeppelin
Do you have a preference between the two? Or are they both equally good or equally terrible?

They're both very different and both accomplished. There aren't many Jimmy Pages about, likewise the overall musicianship of Pink Floyd is surely without question. I suspect Led Zeppelin lost it a bit, trying to reinvent themselves after their second album, regained some a little later,
and Pink Floyd seemed to stick in a rut after Dark Side. Just my views, though.
I came upon both groups later rather than earlier as I'd lost interest in mainstream pop by my mid-teens and turned to this classical progressive.
Atom Heart Mother rescued the situation!

Both are great. I love music overall. I enjoy the blues, which Led Zeppelin had a blues influence. My favorite Pink Floyd member is Richard Wright. He had a jazz and classical influence.
My favorite Led Zeppelin song is the accoustical "Hey Hey, What Can I Do," and my favorite Pink Floyd song is "Summer 68."

Led Zeppelin has a selection that reaches a wider range of moods for me.
Pink Floyd matches up better with dark moods; especially the Wall.

Favourite Led Zeppelin song;
"Goin to California"
