What do you think of this law?

One of Newton's laws is that "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction". The implications are confounding. Is there an equal and opposite reaction to God? Or to light? etc.

What do you think?

There is ego but I don't think it is equal opposite to God. God's love resolves the ego.

If you consider God or Light an "action", then I suppose there should be an equal and opposite reaction.

I consider them as just a state, not an action provoking a reaction, in my humble opinion.

Now if someone tries to impose their idea of God or Spirit or Light on me (which would be an action), they can expect a reaction from me

The law does however apply to physical as well as spiritual or psychological actions - the best example is teenagers

That is a good point. If there is no action, then is there a reaction?

Thank you, since the question was like: Is there an opposite reaction to a 'chair'?

That was the query. What if there actually was?

Newton's 3rd law is a physics law, not a mystical/spiritual/religious law.

In Newtonian, action is a force in a given moment, so an object in motion is not an action, but an object that changes velocity is acted upon by a force. Because force is the product of mass and acceleration, action and reaction are two sides of the same coin.

Gravity is not a force. It is the curvature of space/time around a mass. Since gravity accelerates mass, and as Einstein explained, you can't tell the difference being acted on by gravity or existing in an accelerating capsule, we can formulate gravity as a force - even though it isn't - since all mass is accelerated by the curvature it causes in space/time.

To me the laws of physics and spiritual laws are quite closely connected. They affect each other.
