Did a faerie save my ex's life?
My ex boyfriend told me this story- He was walking two miles home from a friend's house and decided to take a short cut through the woods along some train tracks. He had headphones in and couldn't hear a thing. He had been walking for about a mile when he spotted out of the corner of his eye what looked like a peacock feather on the ground near the trees. So he jumped off the train tracks to investigate. As soon as he jumped down, a train was suddenly there blasting past on the tracks he'd just been walking on. He couldn't believe he hadn't heard the train even with headphones in, and even weirder was after he looked around a good while for a peacock feather or anything that even slightly could have resembled one, he couldn't find anything. It's as if whatever he'd seen was gone.
You think a concerned tree spirit of some sort was to blame for this? Either way, it's an amazing story.

It do sound like it. I am of the believe that many of such actions done by faeries for some reason often gets ascribed to be act of angels. But the thing is from my POV, faeries and the likes are far more involved with maintaining Earth and I do love the story

that reminds me of a story about my ex...although i do not know what it was that warned him.
he was working on the car, was halfway under the front of the car when he said he heard a loud voice demand.'GET OUT FROM UNDER THE CAR, NOW!' he said he didn't even hesitate-he had to obey. the second he did, the jack slipped and car crashed down.

Spirit? yes. Fairy? Unlikely. Contrary to mainstream 'fairy story' fairies, they are not cute little Tinkerbells and they don't really take much interest in human affairs unless we interfere with them or if they think they can use us.

What an amazing thing to happen! He owes his life to some kind of unseen force, that's for sure.
There might have been a feather...it might have been blown away by the train passing quickly...anyway, there was definitely some spiritual force at work there. Did it put the feather there? Did it inspire him to notice it at that moment? Whatever -it worked.
I'm inclined to go with what Badger said to a certain extent. I saw what I am sure was a Faerie once, when I lived in a very wild place in the mountains, and when I was just out of body. This creature was very unusually beautiful, but didn't happen to look anything like the popular pictures of "Faeries". It looked at me as if I'd just arrived from another planet. It had a gentle curious atmosphere about it. I could tell it was fascinated by seeing a human being. Maybe for the first time? I don't know. But I sensed they normally have very little to do with humankind, and are on a completely different 'vibrational reality'.

Nice stories. It could of been anything which hadthe feather go there thou, spirit guide or whatever. It may of been also "synchronisity" of the divine flow of things. Amazingly coincidences can happen with synchronisity.

Hello,
My understanding is that our guardian angel is responsible for stuff like this.

That is an amazing story! Feathers are also associated with Angels. They are often used as signs, etc, that one is there or around. However, it could have been a Fairy, considering where he was. I think whatever feeling he has in his heart and soul is likely to be what saved him:). Great story:) xo
