Where do I belong?

I was raised Catholic, but it has never felt right for me, and it was too much of a burden for me. I never liked attending church or Sunday school/confirmation, and I don't think that religion should feel like a chore. I like how the ancient Greeks and many other religions did not even have a word for 'religion' because it was just part of the way they lived their lives.
I am very open minded. I am learning the tarot, I am interested in palmistry, crystals, dream meanings, mediums, spirits, etc. I don't really believe in witchcraft, like spells, however.
I'm just wondering if there is anything that I would fit with. If there are any questions that I could answer that would give any better information, I would really appreciate them!
Thank you!

Sounds like you'd fit right in with the New Age.

True, I think the clear separation between spirituality, religion, and politics is a recent thing. But the ancient Greeks did have a word for hubris, because religion did influence their lives and provided standards for what should be done in their lives. The ancient Greeks also gave us the words doxy (as in orthodoxy), praxis (as in practice), and cultus (as in cult or culture).

I have never heard of New Age. Could you tell me a little bit about it?

Do you have to belong ? Just be you and go with the flow. Whatever makes you happy is were you belong, it doesn,t need a name.

Take care.

Very well put. I guess I don't need a title or anything to be happy. I think I always assumed that I needed to belong with something (probably a little bit of the Catholic/organized religion background), but I find it such a burden. I feel that if I am happy and a good, well-rounded person, it shouldn't really matter, right?

Thanks!
