Need meditation advice

I've been practicing transcendental meditation for several years, but along the way I've been experiencing increased difficulty in performing it and moderate side effects. I was wondering if someone could offer me advice on an alternative meditation ritual that could effectively replace trancendental meditation, preferably one that I could practice on my own without charges.

Here's the official T.M. site - http://www.tm.org/

SoulWhisperer... A simpler, less ritualistic meditation method could make a real difference for you and your spiritual growth. Here's one you might like:

Appologies for taking so long to acknowledge your answer. I've been working on it, I know it takes time, and I´ll be sure to report amy progress and any doubts I might have, or PM if you'll allow me. Thank you for your thoughtful contribution.

Blessings

Hey friend, I am skeptical of most kinds of spiritual philosophies and yogic/meditative practices that originated in the context of capitalism, especially those that involve ongoing monetary exchange. I would learn to meditate on your own or with a yoga teacher.

And yes, focus on the breath. Practice asana and pranayama and in doing so, these practice will synergize the practice of meditating.
