Hi Smiler,

I can't help you with the camera. But I had an idea.

Obviously you can use a computer, so maybe if you uploaded the video from the camera to the computer then there may be a way to capture a frame using a DVD application. I tried it on Window Media Player but couldn't find the capture frame function command.
I used a DVD application program I have called, Easy Media Player (a free download) - and using the tool bar -> Video -> Snapshot - I was able to capture a photo from a video.

Hope this has been of some help to you

t.

Edit: I have a Vivitar (basic) digital camera. It came with a disc which I have had installed on the hard drive. I'd forgotten all about that - Vivitar Experience Image Manager. It has a video/capture/image function. Dead easy!

You should have a disc with your camera. Just pop it in the ROM-Drive and follow the simple instructions.
