My own backyard. Used to live in a very tight neighborhood and now have 1 1/2 acres with only one neighbor down the hill and he hasn't been in the house for 6 years. So basically it's just the trees and wildlife that tickle my fancy. There's no place like home.

I'd like to travel the world but as far as like perhaps an instinctual desire to live if I had to move...all my life as far as other countries, New Zealand tops the list, as well as Switzerland, then Ireland...
As far as the states...Maine, Vermont, Colorado....with a pull to Savannah, Georgia.

Basically, there is only one place, Mengwi, Bali.
I've been there quite a few times now and that is my 'spiritual home'.
There are also other places I'd like to visit/revisit: Batu Caves in Malaysia, Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Srinagar in Nepal and certain places in Sri Lanka (it's been very war-ravaged though). A lot of places I once wanted to go have either been commercialised to the wazoo or ravaged by war and greed, so the desire is no longer there.

All the "places" of my memory and imagination. If I think of it, I have and can connect with it. Everything is information available for me to do spiritual work, to enjoy or dislike, to treasure or forget. I no longer "need" travel, dreams, or art to feed off of--to provoke or evoke growth and processing. I can create within my own consciousness all I need for whatever it is that I perceive that I need (which is, I know, in actual fact: nothing).

I'm with Chopper, same!! LOL I've traveled to and lived in a lot of places, but I miss Washington State the most! The trees, snow, rain...NATURE! Living in California makes me feel wilted and fatigued.
Ooh, wouldn't mind visiting Bali, though...still not done traveling

My home bioregion, the Missouri Ozarks and Shawnee Hills of Illinois, and really any other natural environment devoid of cars, poison, or other humans. Montane forests feel most like my natural habitat though.
Africa also draws me, especially the Great Rift Valley. Humanity first evolved there and many tribes still follow the old ways. Australia and the surrounding islands are amazing too, such amazing ecosystem and the oldest culture after Africa. I think I also had a past life around the Dead Sea.
