Third eye chakra
I have always had an active third eye chakra, and been dependent on my third eye
However, there were of course times the third eye chakra - especially when overstimulated - makes one overwhelmed and overloaded with the information
What are the ways you ground yourself when you face an overstimulated third eye chakra?
For me, I tend to de-clutter

Maybe just try redirecting attention into the rest of your body, notice where you might be feeling tight and tense and just allow those areas to relax and breathe.

Please be good enough to tell us all about your third eye chakra - where does it lie - how do you use it - why do you have it - can you share with us some of the information you receive - when do you notice that it is working - what else can you tell us - what do you do with all the information you receive.

My 3rd eye has always been very sensitive and active, even when I was a young child. I sometimes put a doll partly next to me but so that its hand ever so lightly lay on my 3rd eye. I totally loved that feeling!
But I don't consciously do anything with my 3rd eye since it's already so active/sensitive, doing more just gives me a headache.
Making sure you're properly grounded, develop your intuition and so on, which is not just your 3rd eye.
And many people get in trouble when they haven't done anything with their first 3 chakras, but focus on developing & using the 3rd eye only.
You need to have a solid foundation (first 3 chakras) in order to be able to carry the higher ones without a problem.
Also, if the foundation isn't developed, the rest cannot really develop either. Like a tree with a few roots only. Its crown won't be significant either.
Which is why they say, as above so below (and vice versa).
You can close your 3rd eye a bit if it's too active.

I resonate in relation to the 3rd eye being active and sensitive even as a child. I used to "imagine" up people only for them to reappear in my adult life (the physical world)!
I found what you said about using a doll very interesting
Yes I think I need to close it a bit, even when I'm feeling good. And make myself more grounded
Lately when I'm on a high vibration I got visions and information of things I didn't even ask for (for example I had this vision of mermaids and oceanic ecosystems)

I go swimming, walks along promenade- exercise??! Eat healthy???!

Anything to take my mind of the focus it’s playing up- or blocked- try to do mundane things to meditate- away the drift goes, and I can meditate clearly-
My waking meditate state is quite powerful, I practise waking meditation and wake meditation?
