If you have an iOS (Apple) device, you might try the Chakra Pro app.

If you can relax with headphones I would try this link. http://mynoise.net/NoiseMachines/iso...eGenerator.php

It is generated so not a recording. With some luck you love it :)
The general idea is described on this wikipage: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaural_beats

I wouldn't worry so much as to the exact location of it. The root is around the base of spine and extends down the legs. When you are relaxed and seated in a chair, try lifting your perineum (look up online), and lightly pressing
Your feet into the ground. What you are looking for is any sensation that occurs in the legs. Might feel like a tingly sensation. Make sure to relax upper body muscles as to not trap energy.

Just be careful, opening and activating your root chakra
can cause allergies all over your body and also have a
very powerful effect of your psychological condition.

It can also be vary dangerous to activate it before activating
higher chakras first.

I would strongly recommend you to keep them in balance
and develop them simultaneity.

This can be very dangerous so make sure you know what you
are doing before you start! Follow good spiritual teachers!

One of the meditations that I use for this is Twin Hearts meditation.
When done regularly and properly it cleanses the chakras,
activates them and keeps them in balance.
This is because it creates a lot of loving energy
as well as divine energy in practitioner that do all the work.
Just follow the simple instructions and everything will happen by it self.

I developed mine from top down also (not in purpose), but I have always heard recommendations to start from bottom up. Since root is the grounding chakra, wouldn't it be counter productive to work on higher chakras before grounding ones self? The symptoms your referring to sound like kundalini symptoms. I noticed after opening my third eye, I was sneezing constantly, before it settled down. And I think the term "dangerous" is an over exaggeration. Sure kundalini symptoms can be annoying, until they subside.

Hi thanks for your concern.
What chakra's did you start to open with from???
I wanted to do twin heart meditation but is it not an very advance meditation??
What is the benefits you got out of it??
Is it easy to do and for how many times a day??
I read the meditation it sounds like it might open your crown chakra
and i thought its dangerous to open that chakra's before opening
the root chakra's.
I am now confused

I think you are trying to hard. Remember the main object of meditation is relaxation and if you are using muscles to do it, you are not relaxed. And I think you may be looking to hard for a result. How do you feel after a meditation? Do you feel heavy, loose, peaceful, and like you had a positive experience? Or do you feel frustrated and tense?

You have to be in that relaxed heavy state before you can start to feel what you are looking for. I used this device for my stutter which got me interested in meditation. The device is meant for reducing distress. It monitors your biofeedback while you follow an oscillating line with your breath. After doing it I feel stress free, relaxed and all I did was breathe thoughtfully and rythmatically.

Before you try any of the energy work, do a breathing meditation. It gets much easier to feel the energy when you are the most relaxed. You want to allow the sensation to happen, as opposed to forcing it happen
