I think I had a Kundalini awakening... sort of

I December of 2012 I had terrible adrenal fatigue and burnout causing my adrenals to pump up too much stress hormones. However after certain changes in my diet and way of life in November of 2013 I improved. And in December 2013 I had what seems like a Kundalini awakening? I was so happy, I let go of negativity and judging others, everything went well and I radiated positive energy that recharged others too. But then in April 2014 I went back to my old ways of negative thinking. I truly miss the happy attitude that made the world seem like what it was when I was a kid. It was magical, I literally felt the world the way I felt it as a kid. What do you think was that? Kundalini awakening? Or something else? Anyone experience something like that?

Sounds like you had a non-abiding spiritual awakening. Many get confused when this state doesn't last and they go back to old ways but it's necessary in order to release the pain you've been carrying around. Suffice to say there's nothing wrong with you and this is a normal thing, and that rather that trying to get that state back, your focus would be better spent on changing your old habits one at a time. The spiritual awakening is like a kickstart in the right direction but it doesn't do everything for you. It gives you a taste of what life could be like without all your baggage holding you down. So you have to release that baggage and allow yourself to become more centered again in yourself.

Kundalini awakening is a little different where a compressed energy starts travelling up your spine or torso, a kundalini awakening is a spiritual awakening but a spiritual awakening is not always a kundalini awakening.

Thanks for your reply! I guess I cannot remove all the baggage alone so I plan on going to age regression therapist this summer.

That's a good idea. Eventually when you release enough of your baggage you'll come to settle in a state of peace which is what we want, so keep at it and the good work. :)

Also, kundalini can rise to a certain chakra and go back down again until the way is prepared or cleared..

Or maybe it's not really baggage, but a curse/jinx? My problems started after leaving behind a friend into black magic. The fantastic period I told you about my OP was right after I prayed to God in a church to lift any black magic from me. It worked... but only temporary, so I guess it's quite strong.
