But Africa consists of a lot of Countries whereas the USA is one country.

You are right of course. Africa is a whole continent full of different countries. The USA is just one country. I overlooked that.

The UK is about 250,000 square kilometers. Which makes it 120 times smaller than the whole of Africa.

Perhaps a better comparison is the continent of North America which is 25 million square kilometers and the continent of Africa which is 30 million.

I've always considered Africa to be a diverse continent. More so than the U.S. Yes, we have the southern bells, the east coast city folk, and pacific NW trail blazers. Southern Colorado which is where i presently reside is water deficient, in my opinion, because we are landlocked. Sure we have lakes and streams but can't go swimming in them because it's mountain water and very cold.

I've lived in Oregon, Washington, California, Texas, Maryland and now Colorado so I have experienced all the different cultures, but our diversity is a drop in the bucket compared to the continent of Africa.
