Headaches...

So I started seeing a new psychiatrist a couple months ago (dealing w/ bipolar disorder & PTSD), & he slightly adjusted a couple of my med dosages. Everything is fine, however, lately I've been experiencing some painful headaches, & I'm not sure if they're attributed to my psychic abilities or the medications I'm on. The other night, I was sitting in my living room, just watching TV, & all of a sudden it felt like someone was digging their thumb into the left side of my skull, & hard. I mean, it freaking HURT. & it's weird, because all of the headaches I've gotten have been on/in that particular side of my head, along w/ a whooshing sound in my left ear.

My next appointment to see my shrink is on Tuesday, & I'm definitely going to tell him about this issue. My question, though, is has anyone ever had headaches related to their psychic ability, or could this be something more serious?

Gee, I have no idea - I'm just glad you're seeing a doctor soon!

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

The best thing to do is to speak to your doctor if it has only happened since the change in medication then that could be the cause,
Being psychic would not give you headaches,

Have you looked up your meds online to see if headaches are a side effect? Remember if you get a really horrible headache as in 'its the worst pain I've ever had in my life', you should go to the ER to get it checked to make sure it's not an aneurysm. And even if your meds list headache as a side effect, pay attention to the pain level. If it's bad enough that's a sign your body doesn't like that med. Especially if the site tells you to inform your doctor. If the doctor blows it off, you should insist or find another doctor. Decades ago, my husband was put on an blood pressure medicine that gave him migraine level pain like headaches. The doctor kept blowing him off. The headaches were so bad that he could not do his job. I had to tell him that he needed to make the doctor understand that the headaches were affecting his work, it was only then that the doctor switched the meds.
