Candles
Hello Everyone, I do hope all are well.
I live in Hud housing and candles are a big no no, but that does not stop us from using them! So, when I do my circle or readings or scrying, ect., is it okay to use candles that are jarred? I also have a cat so I am trying to practice safely in case a candle should get flipped over.

You don't say what size candles you're using.
If they're anywhere near a standard size like between 3/4" and 1 1/2" then you just need to find a decent candle holder with a wide, heavy base.
If you find one that doesn't seem wide or heavy enough, glue it to the underside of a tile or an unglazed plate. Use an epoxy resin glue like Araldite. Take care you mix equal parts and mix them well for a couple of minutes.
Put the candle holder base and plate/tile together and let them set for the proper time. Best to leave 5-minute Araldite for at least an hour. If you have a small over, warm it up just a bit and put the things in there. It'll speed up curing.
You could try cyanoacrilate glue (Super glue) but follow the instructions about amount needed. I doubt this will make as good a bond as epoxy - it depends on how even the surfaces are. And take great care not to get it on your fingers/hands as they'll stick in ways that are difficult to undo!#
Make sure the candle fits the holder. If anything choose one that's larger than the holder grip and gently whittle it down until it fits. It's also possible to soften the end with a flame but take care you don't burn yourself on the wax. A badly fitting candle is more dangerous than a holder, say, 3" in diameter.
Jarred candles rarely burn down evenly and are hugely expensive compared with dinner-table ones. It's up to you.
