If there's no medical issue, including neck issues that can also cause bad headaches, I'd make sure to learn to ground first. And not like 5 minutes, but a real good thorough grounding, which would take some 20-30 minutes.
At first you'd have to do it often, daily or every other day, when you get further it'll be like once a week, once a month, occasionally when needed.
It's like training an underdeveloped muscle which requires more work in the beginning, then you get the desired toning and buildup and it will last much longer.
Not being grounded is the main reason for getting headaches of energywork and meditating. Too much emphasis on the higher chakras without the foundation.

Everyone gets Master titles after so many posts :)
There are many different ways to help ground.. try doing some physical exercise before you do your meditations as that can help with grounding. I'm not sure if I can describe grounding well to you but it's about being balanced with the chakras and having a strong base and a good earth connection.
Also the headaches may be being caused by an overload of energy building up while meditating.. energy congestion can lead to headaches. What kind of meditations are you doing? Are they of the energy raising kind? If so you'd best also ground after them too (just 10-15mins of exercise). Before that you can also try releasing some of the built up energy, you can do that via the hands or the feet and letting some of the energy go into the earth. Put hands or feet (no shoes.. dont wear shoes while meditating) onto the ground and floor and imagine excess energy flowing out or sit with back to tree and allow the energy to flow to tree.

Thanks for your answer i thought the grades were based on knowledge that one might have on the related topic i see it a matter of time and activity my meditation was not anything special crossed legs sitting on a couch eyes closed in-exhale and being focused on the breath

Adding onto what Beratinho and FairyCrystal said, don't use too much force when meditating, just relax and allow the energy to flow. Just focus your mind and don't force it to. Also as well, after every meditation session I do I always focus on my energy finding natural balance and command excess energy to leave my being.
Find what works for you and apply it, and also communicate with your Spiritual guides and ask for guidance.
