Who all is vegan and why?

Hi, I am interested in how many people are vegan... not just vegetarian. If you are vegan, do you know any other vegans?
I only have two vegan friends and it would be great to connect with more vegans.

I am not 'Vegan' nor am I 'Vegetarian'...but...my 'Beautiful Niece' has been a 'Vegan' since January 2013. She is a very "Strong Supporter Of Green Peace' and right now her fight is to stop Oil Testing off our NZ Waters.

I'm vegan, on spiritual, moral and compassionate grounds.

I recommend you sign up to the 'Saucy Vegan'....

Vegan in America and vegetarian in India. Morality without compassion for all beings does not make sense to me.

I am vegetarian but mostly vegan. Occasionally I eat free range eggs and that keeps me from claiming veganism. My natural dislike of animal products is why because it feels wrong.

I am vegan, not for moral reasons but for health reasons, my joints were getting very stiff and movement becoming painful also had quite intense IBS symptoms. Going vegan has reduced the IBS symptoms quite considerably and my joints are all better and I have a lot more flexibility.

Yes I'm vegan...most of the time, I will only ever buy vegan food but If my mum has cooked a chocolate cake with egg in then I'll try a piece because I haven't bought it...I'm currently enjoying a little flexibility cause one day I'm sure I'll be a hardcore vegan like my gf is!

We know loadza of vegans here in the south west (UK) probably upwards of 30 people...my gf is the vegan society contact for our city and she does a vegan fair here every year so we get to meet and convert many people!
