Let me re phrase my responce . I will assume this is not a Gilligan s island kind of ship wreck , but I am taking stuff to an island to stay for a long time . Stuff like steel and concreet to build a dome home that will survive storms . Some solar panels for power . Some t.v.s , short wave radios , some lap tops and pcs . A bunch of usb drives with books and movies . I will assume it rains a lot , so I have water , and the soil will grow food plants . I might need to find a new Marry Ann , I think the old one got fed up with Gilligan.
