Ancient Norse/ Proto Norse Links or Info?

Hello to all, I have perhaps an obtuse question but hopefully someone can direct me somewhere.

Lately I have been reading some pretty far out (no offense intended to any one) theories on Anunnaki and theories on influences they had on early civilizations.

I have seen bits and pieces of Norse versions of this, i.e. sites that would be labeled as proto-Norse or theories that revolve around cultures that resembled the Vanir or Aesir, Jotuns. The Bible itself mentions the Jotuns or close as the "Nefilim".
Most of the searches I go to lead me Thule and fairly quickly to the Nazi's after that, which is way to recent and not something i am interested in or a dead end.

I know this is perhaps not worded all that well, but it is a somewhat nebulous subject. Any suggestions or leads?
