Wake up drowning
A couple of incidents that have happened to me in the last year. I woke up (or thought I had) and my room was filled with water and I was drowning. Eventually before I could feel the life being drained from me, I did wake up and I gasped for air as I did. It was unsettling that I had stopped breathing in my sleep
The other I was laying in bed about to go to sleep and this sensation washed over me, like I was not in control of my body. Then I heard the water running in the bathtub which is the next room over me, fear spread across my body then I heard wet footsteps come into my room. As soon as I was able to get up I checked the bathtub and it was empty.
What are your thoughts on this?

I'm no expert but it sounds to me like something is totally engulfing or swallowing you up emotiomnally far more than you realise in your waking life.

That would make sense, my head was not in the right place then. Thankfully it has not happened since.
