Thanks for that link, Nettles.
I probably shouldn't say this but....
I don't know who dreamed this lot up.
And that is not actually what happens to our beloved animal companions.
Someone is out to make money from this! Oh dear.....I sincerely hope no-one gets drawn into that notion.

Unfortunately there will be people who pay for this, sad that.
LoL I just saw a spelling error in my post...it's meant to be harp strumming angels, not harm strumming angels.

LOL! It must be a streak of natural optimism which caused me to read "harp-strumming Angels"....and only now I see your typo! It really made me laugh!

Not if you owe the IRS or government money....your name will be in the data base forever where they WILL find you. Thats the only logical reason they would ever find a way to make a staircase to heaven, to give you a bill and collect money:)

I have my idea(s) about the afterlife, but realistically they can't be confirmed so I really don't care about it.
We only live <100 years and die. It's the inevitable destination for everyone that exists on the planet.
Always has been.
Why fight it? Why worry about it?
I am content knowing that it will happen and I embrace it.
No one wants to die of course, we have a drive to continue forward, but why live in denial?
If you fear death, there's one or two things going on: 1) you may have an anxiety disorder.
And/or 2) you're not living up to your potential in life. LIVE LIFE. Stop cowering in the corner and being a victim.
If we only get one shot at it, then why spend all those years in misery? Why not enjoy every moment?
Figure out what's holding you back from really living and do something to change it so the chains no longer bind you.
And if we get multiple shots at it or go to some heavenly nirvana afterwards...Figure out what's holding you back from really living and do something to change it so the chains no longer bind you.
Enjoy this life no matter what.

In this dimension, some things simply can not be changed
