Hi :)
Here's a site, which has a little bit of info on crystals. One of the fist sites that I came across originally was this one, it has some info on carnelian and quite a few others.
I think that some people buy a few, as they keep your other stones cleared too. I was going to buy three when I went to the shop, but when I picked up that one above, it seemed that one was enough for me :)
