Affirmations for releasing fears
From the book: Psychic Intelligence by: Terry and Linda Jamison
Your fears can block your from the inner wisdom or source energy that could help you open up your spiritual self and be truly connected. When you let go of your fears you are better able to trust yourself and you then open yourself to even greater light and love. Without your fears in place there will be nothing to block you from clearly seeing.
STRATEGIES TO RELEASE YOUR FEAR
Think of someone whose confidence you admire and imagine what choice he or she would make in your situation. Try to act as if you were that same confident person.
Instead of worrying about what other people think of your choices, take a deep breath, focus your thoughts, and repeat to yourself that the choices your making have the power to cerate positive transformation. Once you adopt that perspective, you will not longer have to fear the disbelief or disapproval of others. Never fear what others might say or think because you are spiritually inclined to a way of thinking that leads to spiritual growth. Do this and you will grow dramatically in your spiritual journey.
Ask yourself: "how do I want to feel right now?" Get out your journal and begin to write words that inspire, sooth, or comfort you. Do you want to feel enthusiastic? Grateful? Humble? Free? Empowered? Accomplished? Inspired? Connected? Exhilarated? Important? Joyful? Intuitive? Wise? Dynamic? Let your mind run free and don't censor your thoughts or feelings.
I wanted to share. This has helped me greatly....Love and light everyone!
Does anyone have any that they like to use for calm and centeredness?

Thank you for sharing. But it's only about this type of fear- fear of rejection/being disapproved, right? What about other fears, for example fear of a change, of making wrong choices? Just wondering if they say about it in the book, too.

Firefly5, I myself have not read the book. however, the principles would definitely be the same. all of life boils down to choices and your perspective. have faith that you contain everything that you need to make the "right" choice for you- that you will bring about the changes that are needed in your life. if things are stagnant, there is no growth. remember that there will always be change- do you want to fear it and cause resistance? or embrace it and move forward in a positive manner? (your perspective) if you for instance lost your job- would being resentful, or angry, or scared your bills wouldn't be paid serve you in any manner? no it wouldn't. (perspective) how would looking at it as something that has already happened- it's past- and now you have an opportunity to find a new job, maybe better suited for you- serve you? you would now be focused on moving forward. have faith, always have faith :)
