Importance of Loose Lotus Seeds
Namastey,
Lotus Seeds represents Goddess Laxmi. These beads can be kept are in Lockers and cases. Many People wear lotus seeds as Mala or as a Bracelets. These seeds are also used for making PunchDhatu bracelet. These beads are offered to Shree Yantra and Goddess Laxmi while worshipping. Lotus seeds reduces Pitta imbalances also known as AMLA PITTA. Mala made out of Lotus beads is used for chanting the mantras of Goddess Lakshmi. Lotus seeds are the symbol of growth.

Are these lotus seeds the same as the one we eat : lotus nut/lotus seed/makkhane in India/nelumbo in China?Does eating it have the same benefits?

Namaste moonincancer,
I appreciate you like my posting, but on the other side as far as lotus nut or makkhane is concerned this is totally different from rudraksha. Although lotus nut has its own benefits.
