Tell the powers in charge a crime is being committed...anonomously
if you want.
Do it now.

My 2 cents.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

What are the karma repercussions for me if I do? She's surely going to be punished, so I have caused harm to her. Heck, I rescue spiders from the path of my vacuum cleaners, and have even been known to fish rolly-polly bugs from the fireplace when they emerge from hiding in the wood logs due to the heat. (what a hideous way to go that would be...)

But what are the karma repercussions if I DON'T turn her in? Am I allowing evil to flourish...? Doesn't that make me party to it? Who am I to say the laws of the land can be put aside at will, I'm nobody. Perhaps the universe gave me this knowledge in order to take action upon it?

It's been 13 months since I found out. I almost wish I hadn't.

Anyway, what would YOU do?

i don't believe in karma. however,it seems pretty bogus for you to turn her in based on what you have posted. why not mind your own business and live and let live? it seems it is your ego that wants to do this, and like your trying to be miss or mr moral superiority?

Annabelle, that's something I'm also worried about. My motives here. What does it say about me that I react this way? Don't know if you read the part about me hitting the yoga mat and just letting it be... That's why I've done nothing for 13 months and am venting a bit here. Thanks to you all for allowing me.

Kris, duh on me for not realizing the underlined word karma in your post was exactly what I asked you for :) I gues I thought it was just added emphasis. Thanks for anticipating that. I have the link open now and look forward to reading it, straightening out the kinks in what I may perceive karma to be (through a glass darkly :) )

Froebellian, yr link didn't open, alas, but how lucky you are to be getting to study big issues, it looks like in a classroom setting.

Thanks again, all.

So your duty is to "the law"? What about your duty when the law is unfair and wrong, which it is in many cases?

KaceyKat, I think we need to consider the importance of following the laws of this world first. I love that you are so kind to spiders and roly poly bugs! Maybe following the laws of this world will help us better understand the laws of the spirit world.
