Spiritual traveller seeking haven....
Hello everyone, and thank you for allowing me as a member!
My name is Simone and have walked this earth for 54, almost 55 years now.
A short summary of my journey so far:
Born and raised Catholic, I told my mother, when I was 9, that I thought people invented "God" because they were afraid of death.
I have been officially apostate from the age of 23, but even before that, I was striving to find my own brand of spirituality.
For a while I dabbled in self-help, meditation, reiki, divination - feeling the connection to others and nature, in a way that the rational and organised parts of my brain could not comprehend.
Then atheism and ruthless scientific viewpoints happened, mainly from others - people I desperately wanted to like me, so I followed.... long enough to cut myself off and unable to reconnect.
Rather recently, and almost by accident (no such thing, I know), I came into contact with a wonderful energy worker who has been gradually first reconnecting me, and is now removing age old protective layers (some possibly older than this particular incarnation) that have been preventing me from living my life fully and completely in all regards.
So here I am, looking for a community I can connect with again, to develop my spiritual side and to keep evolving further, and I am looking forward to this new part of my journey!

Adding to this thread because I seem to have technical issues posting sometimes:
I have a post in the ghosts and haunting forum that does not show up on my threads or on my post count OR on the post count of the thread itself.
I also tried to start a thread in general beliefs today that does not show up either [I can see it, but not sure anyone else can].- deleted the contents of that one, mods you can remove it if you can find it.
Tried to repost it in the cafe forum, same thing.
Other things I could post without issues, so I am wondering what happened... let's hope this works!
