Buddha says, "Attachment is the cause of sufferings". They say it because, when one gets attached to something - more intense efforts are made to hold on it on their side, struggles and pain then comes into action from efforts.

Thus they convey that, "when attachment/hold on to LIFE itself is forgone, Life becomes effortless".

Some call this as Detachment too.

Like, Anything may come and anything may go, they have no interest in anything, so life then becomes much effortless.

Like a flow of boat on the stream - they being not interested whether boat present or not. If interest/attachment comes on it, efforts are made in fear to stop the Boat from the intense stream - which will eventually cause the boat crash too and one can't go to the end of the stream, and again has to go from the start of the stream. The stream has 'life' and if boat is left to the control of stream rather than my own, it will surely make it reach the end, straight or roundabout or many whirls - it doesn't matter as the stream takes care of. Even if one has to kill/stop another boat, it does not 'he/she' does, but the stream does based on the individual Karmic effects of individual boats. One doesn't have to go to the end of the stream to realize this all, but can here and now as "Water", and so then life becomes effortless, and then senses and mind becomes one's loyal assistant and leads him to the end of the boat, and wherever it ends, it is the ocean.

I don't know what these all imply and just typed what goes on in my mind and let it flow.

I have no concern about the above thoughts I typed, but does this give you any meaning?? If not, please trash it.

Thankyou.

Hi.

I think there are many kind of awakenings. A personal major one occured to me felt like a layer (of my coccoon) became fully illuminated... that gave me a sense of freedom for sure....

Oh, I never saw this...you have great questions.

I haven't read any posts...I will say because of Trust.
I was just exposed to someone that called later to say he has Omicron.
Ok. What happens will happen. *shrug*
Ya can't fight against it.
I'd rather be like water that flows around the rock....ref the Tao Te Ching, Ch 78
''But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield.
As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft, and yielding will overcome
whatever is rigid and hard.''

Way easier= effortless, not fighting against.
Imo.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Dang, Miss H, that was a great post.

Yes indeed, trust - only five letters, but such a biiiig word! Key thing to bear in mind, for me, is that trust isn't a mental thing - I'd say it's something you feel in your heart. And in order for you to be able to feel it, your heart has to be vulnerable, receptive, and open. A closed heart doesn't have the first clue about trust.

My prayers go to you @Miss Hepburn!! Let us hope that all is fine for you and for that person and that this stage in humanity evolution passes soon and after that the rivers of divine love and light flood the Earth so that those willing may come to know the love we have experienced in the bossom of the Father for in my humble opinion, we are all in Him.

Best wishes Miss H.
I've been dealing with that the last few days.
Not the worse thing I've ever experienced.

''Attachment'' is a bit of a dirty word, the way it's used. It's really about bonds, and bonds are necessary to make life worthwhile: family, friends, pets, places, hobbies, etc. These make life worthwhile. We do lose bonds over time, and we experience suffering, but does that mean we should give abandon them? Your perspective is that of the ascetic, and you are entitled to it.

Suffering is part of our existence, even more so as conscious animals with complex brains. We cannot escape it or live a life without it, for we'd have to be non-humans, likely not even vertebrates. But the experience of suffering is as much an inescapable reality as the need for water.

Oh, I didn't see this before.

Take care of your health Ma'am.

Also take care of Omicron too, if it comes in let it be the uninvited guest but not a lifetime enemy.

What is your importance Ma'am?? Your healthy body or Survival of guest??

Or like me, not to both!!!? Nothing important and nothing unimportant.

Anyways ..Just for fun. Take care
