experiences with angels

HI, spiritual experiences are not new to me and many people have such experiences throughout their lives. What I find is some folks are not very aware so they are not conscious of the 'contact' whereas those of us here, in such a forum, are possibly more aware and more open-minded in accepting the supernatural :)

My last contact was at dawn a month ago (in semi awake/sleep state) and I wonder if anyone can tell me more about this angel - her name she told me is Ashila or Ashilla. Her energy I felt was channeled through the imagery of the movie I had seen the day before, Wonder Woman - especially the veiled island - "Themyscira" and the form of the young amazonian :) I asked this angel one spiritual question which she answered,... which like me, I may not accept as the finality of things :) And very importantly, myself being a devout Tibetan Buddhist, one of my main Guru-figure is Padmakara Lotus-born one and I chanted Guru Rinpoche's mantra a lot. I do get 'visits' from his retinue of dakinis (skywalkers) that heals.

I am fascinated to know more about this angel who came through and exited through my crown (to be scientific, my brain scope since the Q & A were thought processes 'brain-based', should I venture to say and not spoken words..) To be honest, I do dislike other beings coming through my chakras, crown or otherwise, without my authorization :) But anyway, my purpose in sharing it here is because I trust this Forum and the members are screened so I still have my privacy in sharing with kinship or likeminded folks who will not call me a dreamer or worse, insane. I am fascinated to know this 'Ashila' or 'Ashilla' better but obviously, Googling it made it more confusing (but did guide me to this Forum) so have anyone any knowledge of the origins of this angel? Tell me more. Thank you for your kind sharing.

There are a lot of angels and similar type people/entities/beings who aren't listed in books. Like millions and millions. You may never find written information about her, but as long as she's helping you, that doesn't really matter does it? You will be the one to receive her information. Her likes, dislikes, what she looks like, what her skills are, and so on. And who knows, maybe someday you'll be able to pass on her lore to others.

There's also something to be said for what's being called "pop culture paganism." American Gods gives that a huge nod.

It seems more special when they tell their names, because it's an information received through non-ordinary means. From my experience you can also name the entity yourself, and they will probably respond to it. The name serves as a sort of password for us to connect to a specific being, and I suppose they could present themselves with different names (passwords) to different people.

I appreciate your reply :) contact with other realms are rare and often overlooked as dreaming or illusions. I am just surprised by the name that was quite foreign to me since I expected if anything, something more Tibetan since that was my tradition. I am beginning to realize it is ourselves, myself, being human to always perceived things as a recognizable ethnicity or symbol or linguistic clan or something - these are all 'deified forms' in our minds in order to be able to communicate about things, but in a higher or a different realm, such compartmentalization may not be there at all.

So, I hope to continue this discussion more in-depth, as and when, wisdom arises :) there is so much to learn.

@TeamEffort : I am figuring out what you said, our days of 'pop culture (American) paganism' and how angels and men alike will use the energy for good and evil. I believe that urban legends has a way of turning itself sometimes into folklore, and even to impress on our civilization as something quite real :)

@Ordnael, do you know if visits like this are once-off? Do you get a longer term relationship with angelic beings since you cannot, like a friend, text or call them :) And oftentimes, you have to like request and have a meaningful requests many many chants before they revisit - it's highly unlikely that these beings will agree to having a leisure chat, so to speak. And this is what is exasperating about our realm--their realm relationship.

It's also worthy to analyze the telepathy involved vis-a-vis language use in contact? I know for sure mind-to-mind telepathy need no 'language' or 'words'.... And I have had dakinis that comes after empowerment and sings beautifully but neither in English or Tibetan, or speak in a lucid dream in a totally foreign language. Is there a book on the languages of angels?

I am fascinated. We should begin an entire field of studies in this.

Being more familiar with the astral environment, I'd say the interaction with supernal forces can be frequent if you develop the habit of dedicating some time to them, making them part of your daily life. That was the case with some elementals that I once invited to live on a shelf in my room. I would astral project and meet them in my room or other places by calling the names I have given them. We communicated without problems in the same language.

Not actually what I was getting at. If you've read American Gods, he has people... beings... in there that are not ancient, but who come from newer places. Computer stuff, television. So it's not using pop culture's energy for your own uses, it's about the new places that angels and the like are coming from and being heard through.

Was there an "angel of Thursday" before Thursday was invented?

Demons and Angels are not more than spirits! Good ones and bad ones, but just spirits!

What spirits are? Just people like us who dont have their body anymore.

Since you see good and bad people all the time, why they would change their behavior after life? They will continue be the same!

Uh... no.

There are a lot of different kinds. Some are dead people. Some are immensely powerful beings that are one step removed from The Source that are only barely human-shaped when they feel like it and mostly made of God-light.
