Lady Impreza he was always sneaky and mischievous so maybe so... :)

and Tobi---thank you for those words. I just don't know if I am coming or going sometimes. I am taking a step forward in trying to regain some true normalcy in my life and will be seeing a grief counselor. Thank you all for your well wishes.

We are never the same again after the passing of a loved one. We enter a certain kind of 'transition' spiritually. As with all spiritual growth and transition, it can hurt sometimes. Try not to be too hard on yourself to be too 'normal'. You will be entering a new 'normal' not the old one.

My condolences for your loss ...
Been there, done the grieving ...
Your SC is telling you he is still alive ...
For myself, while I was grieving the persistent fog/widowbrain/confusion interfered w/my ability to interpret properly ...
Death brings mortality to the forefront of our thoughts ...
What I eventually learned was these types of messages were to teach the wonder of life through someone else's death & to be grateful for your own ...
That is not to say you'll automatically resonate or accept it ...
Grief is a long process, given that, you'll spend alot of time finding your own answers, allowing them to resonate to resolve it one small step at a time ...
Since your SC's death was sudden & unexpected, many thoughts start to circulate almost like a vicious cycle ...
For example: "Should I prepare for my death" = decide what I want to be clothed in, type of casket, flower arrangements, etc ...
Its normal ...

If you are in shock (generally wears off between 4-6 months), its good to wait till it wears off before seeking ounseling ...
Shock is protection from reality ...
Light on your journey ...
