Even if your heart feels numb, or says no, give something to another to uplift them and be kind.
It may be a kind thought, a good wish for them. It may be a smile, or a word of kindness to uplift their day. It may be a physical gift, or just helping an old lady cross the road, or reaching for something on the supermarket shelf that they can't reach.
Just help someone in some simple, (can be small) way, and you will immediately feel your heart burst open. This warm feeling of connection and love will enter, as if God or the universe is cheering you on. Then... do it some more... it feels so good! Soon surely you will be full of love, with a heart wide open, and naturally you will feel love and care for others, and a great deep love of yourself and the goodness within you!!!
