Is suffering a collective thing?

Hi everyone. What I mean is if one person suffers it will effect someone else. That person who is effected by it may talk about it to someone else. This results in another person being effected by it. Eventually this causes a chain reaction where everyone in the world is effected by it.
Does one person really suffer alone or does everyone else suffer as a result too?

Suffering is a collective thing but not all realise this.
It’s much more than talk.
It’s inflicted directly and indirectly through families and society. Consciously and unconsciously.
Healing the collective suffering as yourself is often what transpires.
