Spiritually, what does it mean when we say “trust yourself”?

Hi everyone,

as the title says, spiritually, what does it mean when we say “trust yourself”? How can you trust yourself when an awakening is in progress?

During an awakening, and the heaviness in the head and the lot, bad decisions are made and when you feel clearer in the head and the energetic stuff has calmed down, it becomes obvious that had one been more "clear" in the heads during that decision-making period, they would not have made those decisions.

Trusting yourself often means going with the flow which you are feeling or following the intuitive
messages you receive from your deeper being. Trusting your self, to me, means trusting your deeper Self.

When I first learned how to meditate I did not trust not being able to think but then I learned that
I was more awake when my thoughts were quiet, and now I truth that inner silence much more than I do my thoughts.

As a general rule it is not wise to make decisions when you are in a crisis unless your very life depended on it,
and then those decisions might be made in consultation with your deeper Self. Surrender is a basic principle
in most spiritual practices.

I think it means to trust your intuition/heart/soul whatever you call it.

When in transition, it's best not to make any new choices or make any new decisions. Wait till things settle down, your emotions, your thoughts, your life.

When we say trust yourself, we mean trust you hard work and believe in god. All your hard work will definitely paid off at the end. If you do good, you will get good things in return. So trust yourself and god, you will get reward at the right time.

Deep inside, one knows the Truth, one knows what is best for oneself and one's spiritual progression.

Go into the silence and listen to the Voice within.
