Do People View Themselves at Their Own Funeral?
Ok I keep seeing images of different people who passed but before they cross over, they stay around and look at themselves in their coffin and look at how their funeral is. No one can see them not even their loved ones.
It seems like they are standing next to their coffins trying to tell their loved ones that they are not dead but they are ALIVE and are so disappointed when no one can see or hear them. A few feet away is the tunnel or bright light where they can choose to make the transition.
I've also been told that when children pass, most of them immediately cross over but they do not see the bright light or tunnel and they do not stay for their funeral. They see a footbridge at a park, instead, which is more child friendly and not scary like the bright light/tunnel. And babies are carried over by loved ones or spiritual helpers.
It is the adults who tend to linger around and stay for their funeral. Trying to get some closure for the end of their life.
What do you think?

I think I wouldn't want to linger around waiting for my funeral. I'd head to the light ASAP, lol. I'm one that really doesn't care about my physical body after I die. I won't want anyone to spend money on a funeral or anything. I want someone to just dispose of my body in a way that doesn't cost any money and I don't want a funeral. Am I wierd? lol.

Maybe they stay to try and support/comfort their loved ones? I think I would if I had that choice. I wouldn't have any interest in what happens to my body but I would like to support those having to deal with my 'loss'.

Hey Coolchic
My husband was at his own funeral i felt him there. he was very surprised at just how many people attended,,
he had our two children with him who were also in spirit.
people came from all over the country to attend, some flew in from usa, because of his job he was well respected.
ive beeen in the cemetry putting flowers on his grave.when another funeral was taking place,i saw the man being buried walking behind the mourners, trying to comfort them.

My mother was at her funeral. I 'saw' her - and I waved at her, just to let her know, as she was trying to let me know..

How are you seeing images of what I bolded? Are you attending funerals and actually seeing this? Also, have you literally seen children crossing bridges outdoors and then disappearing and have you seen babies being carried away?

I don't think it is weird that you would feel that way. I'm not sure if you've heard a psychic named Sylvia Browne but she has often mentioned in her books, readings, and in interviews that when she dies, she told her family to just "throw her body over the fence" LOL! Since she wouldn't need her physical body anymore, she is less concerned what her loved ones do with it.
As for me, I'm more concerned of what my mother would do to my body if she would respect my wishes or not. Her beliefs is she is very religious and I am spiritual (no religion). I do not want my body "wasted" because I am an organ donor and I want to donate my body to science. I do not want a funeral and I don't want to be buried because I believe that my physical body, although I would no longer need it, can be served as a purpose to help others heal and to find a cure for illnesses/disease. But my mother is determined to have a PRIEST there upon my death and a funeral, and she wants me buried because that's what "catholics" believe in. I think I'm like the majority of folks who would want to linger around just to be sure.

I'm seeing this in my mind's eye. So far, only been to 1 funeral.
But I have a personal message/question for you. I will PM you about it.

Hi Catchild. I was trying to send you a PM but it couldn't go through unless you clear some space. I'm trying to relay an important message for you from the spirit world.

Not weird to me. When my body stops its heartbeat and such, I just want to move along and enjoy the new adventures. If on the other hand, that is the end for me, fine, no big deal. What happens to my body is not at all important to me anymore at that time. For now, I LOVE my body BIG time, but hey, times change and I am Mayflow so... I flow with change (or at least I May!) ... It's a little like as if I once owned a certain car or motorcycle but now no more. Maybe I can travel and ride in or on Spirit and or Light - I do hope there are such adventures in my future store, but if not, oh well, I sure enjoy them now, and when then comes, well I guess I'll have to (so to speak) play it by ear.
