Psychedelics in my dream last night?

Last night i had a lucid dream where i took mescaline. I've never taken mescaline before but have taken shrooms so i understand what a spiritual trip is like. Anyway, this was a lucid dream and completely different to my shrooms trip, it felt like it was a real mescaline trip. In my dream i took mescaline as a kind of experiment as i was the only one taking it. I took it and was waiting for it to kick in, i was actually sitting around in my dream waiting and then boom, it hit me. It initially started off as my ego making everything dark and i quickly pulled myself away from the egoic self that pervaded my presence. My eyes were wide open and i got this overwhelming feeling of spiritual energy run through me. I walked outside and felt really connected to nature, i was analysing a tree, looking at the leaves and feeling like i could understand the consciousness of it. Then i picked up an apple and analysed it next to my friend and said "everything is so interconnected" and that the apple looked like a planet. I was then saying "life is so beautiful". It felt so real, it even seems like i'm describing a real life experience. What could this dream symbolise? Everyone around me in my dream seemed curious as to how i would react to the mescaline.
