Your Opinion: Pendulum pouches - any requirements?

I remember reading somewhere that pendulums should be kept in pouches made of "natural fibers," meaning materials such as leather, hemp, etc. However, silk pouches seem very popular on the market today. What's your opinion on pendulum pouches? Should they be made of a particular material? In your previous experiences, have you experienced differences influenced by the material(s) of previous pendulum carriers? Just curious.

As a partial vego, I would not be looking to a leather pouch; also I'm not into pendulums.

I don't think material that the pouch is made of matters. What matters is that the object you keep your pendulum in should be rather small and somehow, interesting, important, attractive or in some way special to you. It can be a pouch or even a small box, say a box that had a special gift a good friend gave to you. You also should not let anyone else handle it. It is yours alone.
