Spirit release

Does anyone know anything about spirit release? I have a spirit with me, more often than not. He is a relative and was a hero in the first world war and there is a certain amount of fame attached to him, hence a difficulty he may have in moving on fully?

I don't know if he is here to help me with things or if I am to release him. I can't "hear" him as such I just know he is here.

I talked to someone and she suggested that it might be that he needed me more than I might need him.

I want him to have the best possible afterlife and hate the thought of him being "stuck" on this planet.

Could he really be a fragment of you from another life looking to be reintegrated?

He may not be stuck. Spirits that have crossed over can come and go at will. It may be he knows you are sensitive and he just wants your companionship.

There are a lot of reasons why he may be around and I'm trying to explore them all.

i-p - yes possible but I wouldn't begin to go there with that as a reality. unless, he is connected somehow with my father -- this chappie didn't rock up in my sensitivity until after my father had passed.

onetruebeliever - likewise very possible. I initially thought "hey he has come to support me" but then it was suggested that actually it may be the other way round.

THere is a lot of baggage on this world which might keep him here.

You shouldn't have to carry him around this way. I would consult my spirit guides and see if they could figure this situation out. Maybe they can give you a reason for him being around you. Then go from there. If not, you may have to consult another medium. You shouldn't have to have him around that much, it's not good for either of you. Obviously you don't think so either or you wouldn't even bother to care. So trust your gut.

So I have an appointment to go and "meet".

The first I was aware of him trying to reach me was happening to mention of my connection to him to some mediums via email - I don't know why I did this. Apparently, he had been contacting them for about 6 months prior to me meeting them, saying nothing but they believed he would connect with someone during a seance.

It's been over 8 months in the making this seance / circle but I'm happy that it's ocoming about and timing is always important.

I don't know if he is being "carried" by me. There is something I'm in awe of rather than troubled and I want to figure it out. I'm rubbish at hearing / channelling for myself.
