What about Quetzalcoatl, centaur, mermaids, and cyclops?

Many people seem to experience angels, spirit guides, Jesus, Krishna, God, goddesses, demons, ghosts, grey aliens, and more..

But nobody seems to experience Osiris, Quetzalcoatl, centaur, Cyclops, and mermaids. Why is that?
Maybe these phenomena are no longer fashionable..

Who here has swam with mermaids? Sparred with a centaur?
Fought with the Cyclops? Prayed to an unusual deity?

Have you ever experienced such odd phenomena that are not ''mainstream spirituality''?

There is also fairies, elves, leprechauns, dwarves and gnomes etc.

And witches, bugbears, phantoms, sprites and goblins.

I love the fables of mythical creatures. But I do not think they really exist anywhere except in our mind.

World of warcraft is but an indoor game. When you can go outside in the sun to pick up a boomerang to throw it and watch it return.

I've never even heard of those Chrysteos!! but they sound very King Arthurian, mythological creatures conjuring up allsorts of fantastical images :). centaur, Cyclops, and mermaids, I admit I've never even given those a thought and to be honest they seem a bit too far fetched even by my standards! But if some people DO believe in them, then that's there perogative and I certainly wouldn't dismiss them. It's their own truth at any given time after all.
Nice thread :) x

Quetzalcoatl is one of my favourites. It's the only deity from South America that I have a connection with. Connection was laid out a bit by a Dutch children's book that involved his presence. I also believe in mermaids, but I've never met one.

Truth be told, I don't know what mainstream spirituality really is. I am present in many circles of believers. The connections people speak to me about vary from Kali, Hecate and indigenous deities to Jesus, Isis and Aphrodite. I have met people who believe in leprechauns and other, lesser known creatures. Similarly, I've met people who don't believe in angels and demons and aliens. Odd phenomena are quite a given in my life when I involve myself in so many different paths.

it seems as if our religous beliefs have evolved along with our society, this paints a picture that ancient (ie Myan, Egyptian) societies were uneducated and over superstitious but it's actually a false conception. These were well organized societies and religous structures so it could be said that at one time these gods must have exsisted in some scence.

Sylvia Browne and others have explained pretty believably about unicorns,
fairies, etc., and the realms they dwell in.
I didn't retain all her details - but she answers many questions.
Lots of talk about Lilith!

Where did the term nightmare come from? A horse? Yup.
She explains alot.

Look for her book a bookstores near you!

It is what it is to you as far as I'm concerned. When I first started in my development my #teacher' at the the time had the very old fashioned view that it was her way or no way and it was no different to following the Christian faith. Now it's a case of whatever resonates with me, then so it is. It's no one thing .. and that includes elves, goblins faeries, tree spirits, angels, goddesses, unicorns - but no mermaids as yet :)

Hi Chrysaetos,

the 'mythical' beings that you are talking about all stem from Atlantis.

Osiris and Quetzalcoatl were of The Adamic Race, they were Sons of God, of the Ancient Solar Household of Abraham. They, with other 'Gods' left Atlantis when it sank and went to Egypt and MesoAmerica to teach and minister to the peoples of those lands.

Centaurs, gods, Cyclops, mermaids and mermen also dwelt in Atlantis but they were Children of the Earth, creatures tended and nurtured by the Atlanteans. Mermaids and mermen, however, became dolphins when Atlantis sank, but they still exist in that other dimension, as do the rest.

Blessings
