Old Deck Tarot Deck, How to get rid of it..
Hello,
I have an old tarot deck that I would like to get off my hands, any Tarot decks I use just don't seem to like me, they give me constant conflicting answers and are often very dark, and grim. I'll stick with the Oracle cards. I'd rather not be mean, and wasteful, and throw them out, but I'm tired of having the deck around
Does anyone have any ideas as to what to do with them, maybe there's a place I could give them away or something?
Thanks,
Dominick

throw them in the trash? if it gives you bad results, why pawn it off on someone else?

Hello
Say a blessing over them and pass them along to someone. It is a waste to simply toss them out.

You can donate them or put them on freecycle. You could even sell them for a few bucks using something like kijiji or even eBay. Up to you, really.
Just because one person has poor results or doesn't mesh with the cards, doesn't mean someone else won't fit with them perfectly. The divination comes from the person, not the coloured cardboard squares.

Wasteful to bin them i'd never do that to cards, pass them on or sell them cheaply there's many out there who struggle to buy decks who may find they work well for them.

Thank you for all the suggestions! I found someone who would like them, I'm going to ask to have it blessed and then ship it out to them.
You're all so helpful here.
Regards,
Dominick

I'm glad you found someone to take them, you should NEVER destroy or throw a Tarot deck in the trash, bad omen my friend. The deck just wasn't meant for you, doesn't mean it's "bad". I once had a Rider/Waite deck that just felt cold in my hands, never worked for me EVER! I gave it to someone else and it's their favorite deck, works like a charm. I must have gone through at least 1/2 dozen different decks, found The Quest Tarot which worked for a while, then it turned dark, so I switched from Tarot to Oracle decks, now everything is just fine. Some people are just not "Tarot" no matter how hard you try, not their fault, just means they were meant for something else I guess.
